The Bahamas Extended Access Travel Stay (BEATS) permit lets remote workers and students live in The Bahamas for 12 months, renewable up to three years, for a $1,000 permit fee plus $25 to apply, but its online application link no longer works, so check with Bahamas Immigration before relying on it.

Caribbean
Grenada's remote-work permit, created by the Remote Employment Act 2021, lets non-nationals earning at least EC$100,000 a year from outside Grenada live there for up to one year, renewable, for a US$1,500 individual fee; confirm how to apply with Immigration first.

Africa
The Seychelles Workcation Programme, which let remote workers with income from abroad stay for up to a year, is not taking applications: the option is switched off on the official e-Border portal, and ordinary visitor permits run up to 12 months.

Caribbean
Anguilla's remote work programme, "Lose the Crowd. Find Yourself." (Work from Anguilla), let remote workers stay 91 days to 12 months from 2020, but its official pages went offline in late 2022 and no government page lists it in 2026, so treat it as closed.

Caribbean
Antigua and Barbuda's Nomad Digital Residence, which let remote workers earning at least US$50,000 a year live there for up to two years, closed to new applicants on 15 November 2025, and no replacement nomad visa has been announced.

Americas
Bermuda's Work From Bermuda certificate, its one-year remote-work residence permit, stopped taking applications on 28 February 2025; remote workers can now only apply for Permission to Reside on an Annual Basis, and Nigerians need valid US, UK or Canadian travel authorisation to enter.

Caribbean
The Cayman Islands' Global Citizen Concierge Program, which let remote workers earning at least US$100,000 a year live there for up to 24 months, stopped taking applications on 31 October 2022, and no reopening has been announced.

Europe
Georgia's "Remotely from Georgia" scheme was a COVID-era programme that is no longer offered, and Nigerians need a visa for Georgia; the official e-visa portal offers Nigerian passport holders a one-year tourism e-visa for USD 300, which is not a work permit.

Europe
Iceland's long-term visa for remote workers, which allowed visa-exempt non-Europeans earning ISK 1,000,000 a month from abroad to stay up to 180 days, was repealed in May 2026 and is no longer issued; Nigerians were never eligible.

Caribbean
Saint Lucia has no digital nomad visa: its COVID-era Live It extended-stay programme for visitors, launched in April 2021, is no longer listed on the official tourism site, so remote workers can only stay as visitors (six weeks on entry, extendable at XCD 200 per 30 days).
