We are looking for an empathetic, impact-driven operator to build and lead our people and talent function.
The planet’s largest problems can only be solved if organizations collaborate. From pharma and healthcare to manufacturing, Apheris is pioneering a new way of working that will empower organizations to solve some of our biggest challenges. By enabling businesses to securely work together across organizational and geographical boundaries in collaborative data ecosystems, value in sensitive data is being unlocked to accelerate discovery and innovation, optimize value chains, and reduce carbon impact.
At Apheris we are unified by the positive impact we can have and, having just closed a very strong financing round led by Europe’s leading Seed & Series A investors, we are entering a new growth phase. We expect to grow our team from 30 to 60 people over the next 12-18 months and are committed to building best-in-class commercial and technical teams that will help us realize our mission. As a result, we are hiring our first people and talent leader to help us build out our teams with people who have their heart in the right place, care about the impact we will have, and are dedicated to collaboratively solving some of the largest problems our plant is facing.
As our first people leader, you will build and lead our people and talent function for a remote-first team. You will directly report to our CEO & Co-Founder Robin and will work closely with the leadership team (Michael, Brigid, Eero, Kathryn and Jess). You will own all topics from recruiting, to hiring, compensation, culture, benefits and career growth. You will set the right focus, choose the right tools, define all processes and structures. You will be a key person that sets our company up for success. By always having the right talent, spirit and alignment, you will be a driver for success in setting the people foundation for a high growth organization and have a major impact on our culture and company success.
We’re seeking candidates with experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments and who have a track record of building best-in-class HR departments including all systems, structures and processes. You are hands-on and will build out a function from scratch. As we grow and crush our targets you will have the opportunity to hire and manage a team of best-in-class people. This role is for experienced people leaders who can jump in, have an entrepreneurial mindset, are problem solvers and can execute on opportunities quickly.
